USDT on ERC-20 or TRC-20: why the network matters
USDT runs on several blockchains, including Ethereum and Tron. A casino can accept the coin without supporting every network it circulates on.
Before depositing, check the network shown in the cashier, the destination address and the minimum amount allowed. A transfer sent on an incompatible network can mean lost funds.
Fees and confirmation times also vary by chain. The name "USDT" alone is not enough to compare two payment methods.

Withdrawal approved or transaction confirmed: two different stages
A crypto withdrawal can sit pending at the casino before any transaction exists on the blockchain. That period can include account checks, payment-method checks and internal approval.
Once the transfer is sent, the casino or your wallet can give you a transaction ID, or TXID. It lets you follow the confirmation on a block explorer for the network used.
Without a TXID, a withdrawal marked "pending" has not necessarily reached the blockchain. Ask support whether the payment is waiting for verification or internal approval.

Personal wallet or exchange account
A non-custodial wallet, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet, lets you hold your private keys directly. An exchange usually holds the assets on the customer's behalf.
The difference can matter when a casino asks for proof that you own the payment method. A personal wallet can sometimes be verified with a signature or other evidence, depending on the casino's procedure. An exchange will rather provide a transaction history or account details.
Neither option removes KYC requirements automatically. Also check whether the casino allows withdrawals to an address held by an exchange.
Blockchain fees: pick the coin by the amount
